Top Hospitality Software Development Companies for Custom Solutions in 2026

Hospitality Software Development Companies

The short answer

If you need custom solutions for a hotel, serviced apartment or restaurant business, the hospitality software development companies to start with are RaftLabs, AltexSoft, Django Stars, Computools and Intellias. RaftLabs builds fixed-price platforms that cover booking, PMS integration and guest apps. AltexSoft and Django Stars are strong on booking and travel tech. Computools does revenue and direct-booking work, and Intellias takes on large enterprise programmes.

We put integration first when we ranked them. Most hotels already run a PMS, a channel manager and a payment provider, and new software has to talk to all three. In the 2026 Hotel Technology Outlook from NYU’s Tisch Center, StayNTouch and IDeaS, 38% of the 300+ hotel professionals surveyed said integration was one of their biggest problems. That’s the part of custom hospitality software that usually goes wrong.

Key takeaways

  • Ask which PMS a firm has connected to before you ask about its portfolio. A team that has worked with RMS Cloud, OPERA or Mews already knows the quirks.
  • Hotel operations and travel distribution need different skills. Some good travel-tech firms have never built anything for a front desk.
  • Check the minimum project size early. Hourly rates here are between $25 and $99, but minimums go from $10,000 to more than $100,000.
  • Get a written scope and price. Hotel projects tend to grow once the integration work starts.

How we evaluated this list

We read each firm’s published case studies and looked for real hotel software development work, mainly hotel booking engine development and PMS development. We noted which PMS, channel manager and POS systems each one names on its own site, whether it shows pricing, what size of client it works with, and its Clutch rating. We checked Clutch in September 2026. Ratings change, so look at the live profiles too.

The 7 best hospitality software development companies in 2026

1. RaftLabs

RaftLabs AI-first software development and growth marketing company that was founded in 2015. It builds web, mobile and AI products for hospitality, loyalty and B2B SaaS companies, and most of its clients are in the US, UK, Europe, Canada and the GCC. For hotels it builds property management systems (reservations, housekeeping, night audit, multi-property), direct booking sites, guest apps, loyalty programmes, restaurant and F&B tools, and revenue management. It is RMS Cloud certified and connects to Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, channel managers and payment processors.

A good example is City Break Apartments in Dublin. The company had 250 smart locks installed that nobody was using, and its checkout sent guests away from its own site to RMS Cloud. RaftLabs built a branded booking site on top of RMS Cloud and a React Native guest app with OmniTec Bluetooth keyless entry, digital check-in and paid extras such as late checkout and parking. It took 14 weeks. The City Break Apartments case study says self check-ins went up 7x, staff saved 20+ hours a week and direct revenue rose 25%.

Prices for its hospitality software development services are listed on its site. A booking engine with PMS integration and loyalty is $50,000 to $90,000. With a guest app it’s $80,000 to $140,000, and multi-property platforms start at $150,000. Projects usually take 12 to 14 weeks, you pay by milestone, and there’s a 60-day warranty after launch. The other firms here only list hourly rates and minimums on Clutch, so you can’t budget for them in the same way before a call.

RaftLabs handles the whole project, from scoping and design to integration and launch, so you don’t need your own developers. If you want to manage engineers yourself, a staff-augmentation firm would suit you more.

  • Best for: Hotels, serviced apartments and hospitality groups, from single properties to multi-property operators
  • Pricing: $25 to $49/hr; $10,000+ minimum
  • Clutch:9/5 (20 reviews)

2. AltexSoft

AltexSoft has worked in travel and transportation since 2007. Its work is mostly on the distribution side: booking engines, GDS and NDC connections, hotel APIs, bed banks and aggregators, and booking tools for OTAs and hotels. It also builds custom PMS “for better pricing and inventory management decisions.”

One project was a full rebuild of an online travel agency in Saudi Arabia, connected to Sabre GDS for flights, the Qtech API for hotels, and Skyscanner and Wego for metasearch. A smaller one, for Rakuten Travel, had two data scientists build a price-prediction model for a small family hotel.

It charges $50 to $99 an hour and won’t take projects under $100,000, which is the highest minimum on this list. Its site doesn’t mention OPERA, POS or channel manager work, so ask about those if you need them.

  • Best for: OTAs and hotel groups with complex distribution needs
  • Pricing: $50 to $99/hr; $100,000+ minimum
  • Clutch:9/5 (15 reviews)

3. Django Stars

Django Stars started in 2008. Its hospitality team builds booking and reservation systems, PMS, CRM, hotel management tools, dynamic pricing and loyalty. It lists more integrations by name than anyone else here: OPERA and Mews (PMS), SiteMinder and SynXis (booking), Cloudbeds, STAAH and RoomRaccoon (channel managers), and Oracle Micros, Toast and Square (POS).

Its biggest travel project is PADI Travel. Django Stars began working on it in 2012 under the name Diviac, and PADI bought Diviac in 2018. According to the PADI Travel case study, the platform handles B2B and B2C bookings, takes payment in 100+ currencies, lists 7,100+ dive trips from 1,200+ dive shops, and grew bookings 40% year on year.

Rates are $50 to $99 an hour with a $10,000 minimum. We didn’t find a named hotel PMS build, so most of the proof is travel booking. Its website gives Wilmington, Delaware as headquarters and Clutch gives Kyiv, so check which company you’d be contracting with.

  • Best for: Booking-led travel and hospitality platforms
  • Pricing: $50 to $99/hr; $10,000+ minimum
  • Clutch:8/5 (61 reviews)

4. Computools

Computools has its head office in New York, engineering teams in Poland and Ukraine, and 250+ staff. It works on PMS, central reservation systems, hotel operations, channel manager, GDS and OTA integration, revenue management, POS and loyalty.

For a 420-room resort on the US coast it built Profitento, an AI revenue tool connected to OPERA PMS, SiteMinder, the booking engine, OTAs, CRM, POS and the spa system. The Profitento case study reports these results six months after launch: RevPAR up 11.4%, ADR up 7.8%, direct bookings up 24% and OTA dependency down 18%. For a hotel chain in Austria, its Radesso Prime platform moved direct bookings from about 10% to 55% in around six months.

It charges $25 to $49 an hour with a $25,000 minimum. Neither hotel is named in the case studies, so ask to speak to the client.

  • Best for: Resorts and hotel groups chasing RevPAR and direct-booking gains
  • Pricing: $25 to $49/hr; $25,000+ minimum
  • Clutch:9/5 (100 reviews)

5. Intellias

Intellias was founded in 2002 and, according to Clutch, is based in Kraków. It has about 2,500 engineers. For hospitality it builds booking engines, mobile check-in and check-out, virtual concierge, keyless entry, digital menus, loyalty, and operations and inventory tools for hotels, short-term rentals and restaurants.

It has built a travel booking engine for a European startup working across Central and Eastern Europe and the Nordics, and a vacation rental management platform linked to rental sites and booking channels. Its travel page lists GetYourGuide, Omio, Guesty and BWH Hotels as clients.

Pricing is $50 to $99 an hour, with a $50,000 minimum. It mostly runs large programmes with several teams, which may be more than a single hotel needs.

  • Best for: Hotel chains, rental platforms and travel brands running multi-team programmes
  • Pricing: $50 to $99/hr; $50,000+ minimum
  • Clutch:9/5 (30 reviews)

6. MobiDev

Clutch lists MobiDev in Sacramento with 250 to 999 employees. It builds property management, online booking, POS, loyalty and reservation software, and says it has worked with 50+ hospitality and retail clients.

Most of its hospitality work is for restaurants and bars. Since 2014 it has built SmartTab, a POS system for restaurants, bars and nightclubs, and the team on that account has grown from 5 engineers to more than 30. The SmartTab case study gives a 0.03-second response time and 470% growth in active venues over four years. At one event, 51 SmartTab devices handled 10,000+ guests and tabs. MobiDev also built MetroTables, a restaurant booking and dynamic-pricing platform that signed up 20+ venues and chains early on.

It charges $50 to $99 an hour with a $10,000 minimum. We found no hotel PMS projects, and 16 Clutch reviews is a small number for a company of its size.

  • Best for: Restaurant groups, bars and venues
  • Pricing: $50 to $99/hr; $10,000+ minimum
  • Clutch:9/5 (16 reviews)

7. Intellectsoft

Intellectsoft was founded in 2007. Its hospitality work is mostly guest-facing: upgrading old systems, third-party integrations, loyalty, smart rooms, kiosks and contactless services. The website says it’s based in New York; Clutch says Miami.

It has worked with Wynn Las Vegas and Encore since 2010. The Wynn Las Vegas case study describes an app that lets guests book rooms, reserve restaurant tables and shows, find their way around the resort and read the resort magazine. Its portfolio also has an Android app for a luxury resort operator and a web portal for Guest Services, Inc.

It charges $50 to $99 an hour with a $50,000 minimum. The Wynn case study doesn’t give any results, and the work is mobile apps for guests, not PMS or channel management.

  • Best for: Resorts and casino hotels that want a flagship guest app
  • Pricing: $50 to $99/hr; $50,000+ minimum
  • Clutch:9/5 (46 reviews)

How to pick the right hospitality software partner

Work out what you’re building first. Hotel booking engine development for a 40-room boutique hotel is a different job from putting POS into 30 restaurants or running a three-year platform project for a chain, and the same firm is rarely right for all three.

Once you have a shortlist, ask each firm which PMS it has connected to in production and what went wrong. It’s a useful question for PMS development, guest apps and revenue tools alike. Teams that have done the work usually have an answer straight away, like a rate sync that lagged or a night audit that broke when a booking crossed midnight. If all you get back is a list of frameworks, keep looking.

Then ask for a fixed price against a written scope. A team that has done this kind of integration before should be able to give you one.

If you run hotels, serviced apartments or a hospitality group and want a direct booking engine, PMS integration, guest app or loyalty programme at a fixed price in about three months, talk to RaftLabs. AltexSoft makes sense when distribution is the main problem and you can spend over $100,000. Django Stars fits booking-led platforms, especially if you use SiteMinder, Cloudbeds, OPERA or Mews. Computools is worth a look if you run OPERA and SiteMinder and your targets are RevPAR and direct bookings.

For a big chain or rental platform with a multi-year plan, Intellias is set up for that scale. Restaurants, bars and venues looking for POS or reservation software should talk to MobiDev. And if you run a resort or casino hotel and want one main guest app, Intellectsoft has done that for Wynn.

Final thoughts on choosing a hospitality software partner

All seven firms can build software. The difference is whether they’ve already dealt with the problems your property has, like a PMS that doesn’t sync properly, a booking engine that sends guests to OTAs, or a POS that has to cope with a full Saturday night.

Shortlist by project type. Ask each firm what it has actually shipped and which systems it connected to. Pick the one that will put a scope, a price and a timeline in writing, because in hotel projects the delays usually come from the connections between systems.

Frequently asked questions

How much does custom hospitality software development cost?

Most of the cost depends on how many systems you need to connect. RaftLabs publishes its prices, which gives a useful guide: $50,000 to $90,000 for a booking engine with PMS integration and loyalty, and from about $150,000 for a multi-property platform. Each extra integration, such as a POS, a lock provider or a second PMS, adds more.

How long does hotel software development take?

A booking platform with a guest app and PMS integration can launch in about 14 weeks. The City Break project took that long. A multi-property platform or a new PMS takes much longer, and how good your PMS vendor’s API is often matters more to the timeline than the development team.

Should I build a custom solution or buy an off-the-shelf PMS?

Buy a PMS for everyday front-desk work like reservations and night audit. Build custom software for the parts that affect guests and revenue, such as direct booking, loyalty, guest apps and the connections between your systems.

Who owns the code in a custom hospitality software project?

You should, and it should be in the contract. Check that the source code and IP pass to you on final payment, and that third-party licences, such as PMS APIs or lock SDKs, are in your name and not the vendor’s.
